The Newburg Trio is delighted to be performing in the opening concert of the Taft Museum of Art's prestigious Classical Concert Series for 2012.
Heidi Yenney, violin; and Dr. Amy Gillingham, 'cello; will join your humble host for an afternoon of short (mostly) classical pieces with a few twists-
There will be jammin' in Brahms, and there will be plenty of Latin music (the entire 2nd half, actually...)
We will embrace the recent trend in classical concerts to be "not so stuffy". We may even stretch the trend slightly. Just slightly.
AND IT'S FREE! Sunday, Jan. 22--- 2.30 pm....Taft Museum.....FREE!
